China NBR PVC pipe insulation is a flexible elastomeric thermal insulation Supplier, Suppliers

NBR/PVC pipe insulation is a flexible, elastomeric thermal insulation with smooth skin on the outer surface. The expanded closed-cell structure of the synthetic nitrile rubber makes it an efficient thermal insulator for hot water and air conditioning pipes. Normal wall thicknesses of 1/4”, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″,1″, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2″ and 2” (6, 9, 13, 19, 25 , 32, 40 and 50mm). Standard Length with 6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft(2m).

Product Description

The Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe is a black, flexible elastomeric foam tube designed to conserve energy and prevent condensation on piping applications. The closed cell properties of this tube create exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation. Engineered for insulating large surfaces, it is ideal for insulating large-diameter pipes. By reducing the number of sections required, they simplify the installation process, saving valuable time and labor costs. Facing: The pipe can be covered with protective aluminum foil and adhesive paper.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the main functions of the Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe?
It is primarily used to conserve energy and prevent condensation on piping systems. Its closed cell properties provide exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation.
How does this insulation pipe save on installation costs?
Because it is designed for insulating large surfaces and large-diameter pipes, it reduces the total number of sections needed. This simplifies installation, which saves time and lowers labor costs.
What is the fire performance rating of this product?
The product is rated as Class 0 and Class 1 under the BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 standards. It also achieves a Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 according to ASTM E 84.
Does this insulation material have strong moisture resistance?
Yes, it features a closed pore foaming structure with a high water vapor resistance factor (μ ≥ 10000) and low water absorption (20% by volume per ASTM C 209), ensuring excellent damp-proof performance.
Is this insulation pipe resistant to environmental degradation?
Yes, it has proven technical resistance to environmental factors, scoring "Good" in fungi resistance (ASTM 21), ozone resistance (GB/T 7762-1987), and U.V. and weather resistance (ASTM G23).
Can the pipe be customized with different protective facings?
Yes, the foam rubber pipe can be factory-covered or field-wrapped with aluminum foil and self-adhesive paper for extra physical protection and ease of installation.
