The product has been specially developed for use on the import/export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities. It is part of Kingflex Cryogenic multi-layer configuration, providing low temperature flexibility to the system.

Kingflex ULT is specially developed for use on import/export pipelines and process areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities. It provides cryogenic thermal insulation and is part of a multi-layer configuration that delivers low-temperature flexibility to the piping system.
The recommended operating temperature range for Kingflex ULT is -200°C to 125°C, making it optimal for extreme cryogenic environments. For Kingflex LT, the recommended operating temperature range is -50°C to 105°C.
Kingflex ULT is built as a flexible, high-density, and mechanically robust closed-cell elastomeric foam. This material structure is designed specifically to overcome thermal and physical stress under extreme low temperatures while maintaining peak mechanical performance.
Both materials feature a closed-cell structural configuration, with a percentage of closed areas exceeding 95%. This high closed-cell ratio ensures superior thermal resistance and prevents moisture intrusion.
Kingflex insulation is available in standard thicknesses of 3/4" (20mm) in 10 × 1 meter rolls (10 ㎡ per roll) and 1" (25mm) in 8 × 1 meter rolls (8 ㎡ per roll).
Performance and physical properties are verified using recognized industry standards, including ASTM C177 for thermal conductivity, ASTM D1622 for density, ASTM D2856 for closed cell structure, and ASTM E 96 for moisture performance and water vapor permeability.
