The insulation is specially developed for import/export pipelines and process areas of LNG (liquefied natural gas) facilities. It forms a key part of multi-layer cryogenic configurations, ensuring essential low-temperature flexibility.
Kingflex ULT is recommended for applications operating in temperatures ranging from -200°C to 125°C. Kingflex LT is recommended for temperatures between -50°C to 105°C.
Both ULT and LT grades boast a closed cell area percentage of over 95%. This exceptionally high ratio prevents moisture intrusion, ensuring thermal stability and long-lasting performance in extreme low-temperature environments.
Standard options include a 3/4" (20mm) thickness available in 10m x 1m rolls (10㎡ total), and a 1" (25mm) thickness available in 8m x 1m rolls (8㎡ total).
The materials are tested against stringent global standards, including ASTM C177 for thermal conductivity, ASTM D1622 for density, ASTM D2856 for closed cell structure, and ASTM E 96 for water vapor permeability.
