Wholesale Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe Manufacturer, Supplier

Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation Pipe is designed for the insulation of large surfaces, ideal for the insulation of pipes of large diameters. By reducing the number of sections required they simplify installation, saving on time and labor costs. Facing: Pipe can be covered with aluminum foil and adhesive paper. NBR pipe insulation is a flexible, elastomeric thermal insulation with smooth skin on the outer surface. The expanded closed-cell structure of the synthetic nitrile rubber makes it an efficient thermal insulator for hot water and air conditioning pipe. Normal wall thicknesses of 1/4”, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″,1″, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2″ and 2” (6, 9, 13, 19, 25 , 32, 40 and 50mm). Standard Length with 6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft(2m).

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary materials used in this rubber foam insulation?

The major raw materials utilized in manufacturing this high-performance rubber foam insulation are premium NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).

What is the thermal conductivity rating of the rubber foam insulation?

The material exhibits low thermal conductivity: ≤0.030 W/(m.k) at -20°C, ≤0.032 W/(m.k) at 0°C, and ≤0.036 W/(m.k) at 40°C according to ASTM C 518 standards.

How does the insulation material perform in terms of fire resistance?

It offers excellent fire-blocking, achieving a Class 0 & Class 1 Fire Rating (BS 476 Part 6 & 7) and a Flame Spread / Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 based on ASTM E 84.

What is the applicable working temperature range?

This rubber foam insulation is stable and reliable for use across a wide temperature range, extending from -50°C up to 110°C, in compliance with GB/T 17794-1999.

Is this material resistant to environmental factors like mold, ozone, and UV?

Yes, it demonstrates outstanding durability, featuring proven resistance to fungi (ASTM 21), ozone (GB/T 7762-1987), and UV/weather conditions (ASTM G23).
