Wholesale Industrial Rubber Foam Insulation Pipe Supplier, Quotes

Product Description

High-Performance Thermal Insulation Pipe / Tube

This thermal insulation pipe uses NBR (nitrile-butadiene rubber) as the main raw material for foaming, creating a fully closed-cell flexible rubber insulation material. Formulated without any fibrous dust, HCHO, or CFCs that contribute to ozone depletion, it offers a safe and clean solution for thermal insulation across various pipes and equipment operating within the range of -50℃ to 110℃.

  • Nominal Wall Thicknesses:  1/4”, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2″, 2” (6, 9, 13, 19, 25, 32, 40, 50mm)
  • Standard Lengths:  6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft (2m)

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What materials are used to make this thermal insulation pipe?

The insulation pipe utilizes NBR (nitrile-butadiene rubber) and PVC as primary raw materials. The structure is foamed into a fully closed-cell flexible rubber material containing no fibrous dust, HCHO, or ozone-depleting CFCs.

2. What is the temperature range of the insulation tube?

It is highly suitable for the thermal insulation of various piping configurations and equipment operating in temperatures ranging from -50℃ to 110℃.

3. How well does this insulation pipe perform against fire?

The insulation pipe meets BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 requirements, obtaining Class 0 and Class 1 fire ratings. Additionally, it achieves a Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 under ASTM E 84 testing.

4. Can these insulation pipes withstand moisture and environmental conditions?

Yes. The material possesses high resistance to water vapor permeability (≤0.91×10⁻¹³ Kg/(m.s.pa)) and exhibits good resistance to fungi growth, ozone deterioration, and UV/weather exposure.

5. Is the insulation pipe easy to install on existing pipes?

Absolutely. The pipes can either be threaded onto new pipelines during construction or cut and glued over existing piping systems. Simple cutting and gluing do not affect the thermal insulation efficiency.

6. What standard sizes and lengths are available?

The nominal wall thicknesses range from 1/4” up to 2” (6mm to 50mm). The standard lengths provided are either 6ft (1.83m) or 6.2ft (2m).
