China Thermal Insulation Formula Manufacturers & Pricelist

High-Density Closed-Cell Elastomeric NBR/PVC Foam, Cryogenic Insulation, and Fiber Glass Wool Solutions for Global Industrial HVAC, LNG Systems & Green Building Standards.

Material Science: Understanding the NBR/PVC Formula

The performance of modern thermal barriers lies in the chemistry of the compound. We leverage molecular control to provide unparalleled thermal resistance.

The Science Behind Low Thermal Conductivity

The foundation of Kingflex elastomeric insulation is our specialized NBR/PVC closed-cell structure. Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) provides excellent elasticity, low chemical reactivity, and structural flexibility under extreme temperature ranges (-40℃ to 105℃). Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is chemically blended to improve overall fire retardancy and ozone/UV resistance.

By adjusting the blowing agent ratios and catalyst structures in the formulation stage, we maintain a uniform micro-cellular grid with a closed-cell rate exceeding 98%. This dense barrier restricts convective gas movement within the material, yielding a remarkably low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ ≤ 0.034 W/m·k at 0°C).

Additionally, the high concentration of inorganic flame retardants ensures low smoke toxicity, complying directly with global building standards such as Class 0 rating (BS 476 Part 6/7) and Class V-0 ratings (UL 94).
