Our material formulation mixes Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) to form a micro-cellular structure. With a closed-cell ratio exceeding 98%, the insulation restricts convective airflow inside the cells, offering an extremely low thermal conductivity (λ ≤ 0.034 W/(m·K) at 0°C).

Additionally, the high resistance factor to water vapor transmission (μ ≥ 10,000) guarantees that moist ambient air cannot penetrate the insulation to reach the cold copper surface, mitigating corrosion under insulation (CUI) and mold growth.
