Unlike standard closed-cell foams engineered exclusively for low thermal conductivity and moisture-vapor barriers, open-cell elastomeric rubber foam is designed with an interconnected capillary structure. Sound waves enter the convoluted network of open pores, causing the air molecules within the cells to vibrate. This kinetic energy is efficiently converted into thermal energy through viscous friction against the inner cell matrices.
This thermodynamic dissipation makes open-cell foam remarkably proficient in capturing medium-to-high frequency noises. At the same time, its high-density elastomeric compound base (40-55 kg/m³) handles lower frequency mechanical vibration much better than low-density polyurethane acoustics. Designed with optimized air flow resistance, our open-cell rubber foam solutions prevent structural resonance and sound transmission through HVAC sheets, piping, and industrial ceilings.

Ensuring compliance with localized ambient noise restrictions across commercial, residential, and marine environments.
High-frequency white noise from server exhaust fans and chiller pump assemblies is targeted by lining wall frames and intake/outtake plenums with 25mm to 50mm open-cell NBR/PVC sheets. This application combines sound absorption with the flame-retardant security needed for high-power electronics.
Ideal for commercial air-conditioning setups. Applying open-cell rubber foam internally reduces noise from supply fans and dampers while maintaining low heat conductivity and a high moisture resistance factor. It also prevents the condensation problems common in high-humidity facilities.
Installed inside acoustic drywall cavities, machine rooms, and basement elevator shafts, our elastomer panels help absorb sound, control echo, and deaden impact vibrations. This helps developers meet strict municipal multi-family housing sound transmission (STC) rules.
Established by the Jinwei (Kingway) Group—a major manufacturer of thermal insulation materials since 1979—Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. operates in Dacheng, China, a key hub for green building materials. We run 5 fully automated assembly lines with an annual output capacity of over 600,000 cubic meters.
As a designated manufacturer for major Chinese ministries (including the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Electric Power, and Ministry of Chemical Industry), we maintain high technical standards. In the past 16 years, we have exported to over 66 countries. Our integrated services cover project consultation, custom R&D, installation guidance, and technical support.

Our research team is continually refining the polymer composition of our elastomeric foam to enhance structural integrity and noise reduction. Current initiatives focus on:
Located in the Dacheng green building materials industrial zone, Kingflex benefits from a well-established supply network for primary raw elastomers, vulcanizers, and foaming agents. This concentration helps secure stable input pricing and reliable material quality, even during shifts in the global supply market.
Our raw material management, real-time batch checks, and proximity to major shipping ports help minimize domestic transit times. As an export partner, we assist global clients with bulk container loading, customized wood pallet packing, and the documentation needed for customs clearance.
We work closely with engineering firms, mechanical contractors, and acoustic consultants worldwide. By analyzing project drawings and technical requirements, we help select the correct material thickness, density, and fire ratings.
Our support team handles technical questions on topics like vapor transmission barriers, sound insulation coefficients, and chemical resistance. This proactive service ensures that our materials meet local construction codes and performance targets on site.
